Currently I am a technology professional development coordinator with CTAP Region 6 in northern California. Prior to my role with CTAP, I was a middle school classroom teacher at Salida Middle School. During my time at Salida Middle School, I taught 6th grade multiple subject, 7th grade pre-algebra and English Language Arts, and 7th/8th grade computer elective. I have also been an instructor for the University of San Diego’s Continuing Education department since 1997. In addition to developing workshop ideas and content to assist teachers with integrating technology into their lessons, I also spend some time presenting at local conferences. This blog is an attempt to continue the learning and collaboration that occurs during all of the staff development that I attend and facilitate. I plan to blog about useful online resources that I stumble upon, technology integration ideas, and professional development issues. My biggest concern about this blog is that I will spend most of my time writing for myself.
